It is immersed in, and almost submersed by, a luxuriant vegetation; a tranquil retreat, a haven of quietness, privacy and relaxation. Garden is full of hydrangeas, oleanders, bougainvilleas, lantanas, palm trees, lemon trees and very, very, old olive trees, which are almost stuck into the house. A charming external staircase leads up to a very big solarium terrace. Up here, night and day, there is a striking 360° view: the Nebrodi Montains, the Tyndaris Cape, the Milazzo Cape, the Aeolian Islands. What an eye sight! The "Palms Apartment" is built in the typical architectural style of the islands it faces and owes to this its peculiar charm. The "Apartment of the fico d'India" is suitable for 4 persons, sleeping in a comfortable main double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and, in a double bedroom situated on an intermediate level (plus 2 more using a sofa bed placed into the living room). There is a spacious a big kitchen/dining area. The property is light and airy and split on 3 levels. It is well furnished and finished-off with care. Walking into the living room, furnished with typical Sicilian old furniture and an extra fold-away double sofa bed and TV set, a stair case will take you up to the split level double bedroom with tall wood beamed ceiling. Going through an arch, you will find the comfortable second bathroom with a stunning built-in shower, a lava stone topped wash basin and wrought-iron fittings (bathrooms on our estate can be quite an experience!) and the kitchen/dining area. Kitchen has built-in work-tops and all necessary equipment such as fridge, freezer and microwave. A smartly placed window will allow you to a panoramic dish washing! At your back there is a dining table sitting 6 p.

The Villa Ridente apartment is located in Gioiosa Marea in Sicily, which means nature just a step away from the sea (only 100 metres) just opposite the Aeolian Islands. From Villa Ridente you can easily reach the ancient Greek colony of Tindari (10 km) where you can visit the archaeological zone (Greek theatre, basilica and Roman villa), the sanctuary of the Madonna Nera and, in Marinello, the salt ponds and lovely beach. The Aeolian Islands can be reached in just one hour by boat from Gioiosa Marea or Milazzo: there are seven volcanic islands offering different views, but all are not to be missed! Cefalù is also only an hour by car: it deserves a visit for its seaside, cathedral and small alleyways. Taormina does not need to be presented; it can be reached in a little more than an hour by motorway. A visit to this pearl is sure to be unforgettable. In addition, you can make day-long excursions to Palermo, Monreale,Erice, Selinunte, Segestum, Agrigentum and the Valley of the Temples, Piazza Armerina, Syracuse and Noto (Baroque Art) and other splendid Sicilian localities.
