Tennis CourtHotel, lodging, Bed & Breakfast and Apartments offers a chance to play in the new tennis court, made available to our customers. This is a training camp built in 2008 in the midst of the hills and surrounded by an incredible view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands. Located within the same grounds, it is not far from your rooms and apartments and you can quickly reach it on foot. The surface of the field is latest generation synthetic coating. A perfect surface, the same used in the field of the American U.S. open, which makes the tennis court soft to the tread and provides a grip and optimum speed to the ball. You can play exciting games or enjoy the match at the side of the field surrounded by wonderful Sicilian countryside with a superb view of the sea. Regulatory measures of the tennis court, including two corridors are the following: 23.77 x 10.97 m, including side corridors 1.37 m wide, valid only in matches of double. The dividing net appliance is 0,914 m high and 1.07 m from the supports. From each side of the net lines parallel to it are distant 6.40 m; shortly after 5.49 m are plotted the serving lines. On the sides and bottom of the pitch will be enough space for movement of the player: respectively 3.65 and 6.40 m for international competitions and 3.05 and 5.50 for the national races. |
Sicily Restaurant, Sicily Restaurant - Sicily Restaurant-Sicily Restaurant - Sicily Restaurant The restaurant is located in a 100 year-old renovated olive oil production plant, which still displays the ancient machinery and offers great traditional Sicilian cooking. The restaurant is open from 08:00 - 10:30, from 12:30 - 14.30 and from 19:00 - 22:30. The price of meals is between EUR 14 and EUR 22 for lunch or dinner. Among the specialities are wine specialities, such as the Nero d'Avola and other genuine Sicilian house wines. |
Horse Riding:The horsefarm is situated close to the farmhouse and includes the stable, the training arenas (sand fields), the training circle and paddocks. The roomy and well ventilated stable is equipped with wooden boxes were we are able to accommodate our guest's horses. For the riding lessons we use the 3 training arenas also used as meeting point for the riding tours. In our paddock the horses can relax and move around freely. Showers and dressing room, as well as riding caps are at your disposal. You can choose among a big range of riding activities like riding lessons from beginners to advanced, different riding tours in the valley or on the beach, Pony games for the children and especially for our smallest guests there is the "pony baptism". Our horses are reliable and safe and can be used either by experienced riders or beginners. Our horsefarm enables us to offer a great selection of tours ranging from one hour, 2 hours, half a day up to several days riding tours. All the tours are supervised by experienced guides. The riding lessons are based on your personal level. You will be taught by qualified riding instructors. Through to the riding lessons you will be able to improve your personal skills or move your first steps on horse back. For our small guests (over 4 years) we offer a special pony game program by which the children learn playfully to manage a pony overtaking the fear and moving their first steps towards the riding sports. The child can improve his own movements by playing pony games developing the awareness of his own and the pony's body. The special pony game program includes team games and the children have fun with ponies and playfellows. All goals can be reached having fun. We organize workshops for youngs and adults. During these workshops, lasting one or several days, you will follow practical riding lessons on the horse back as well as theory lessons about anatomy, physiology, food, behaviour and psychology of the horses. For parties, weddings and other events you can hire a horse carriage. In fact we have always the pleasure to accommodate English, Americans, Dutch, Germans, Swisses and Austrians and many other hosts from many countries of the world that have shown much interest to our zone. |
BikingIn the farm you can hire professional mountain bike where you can, for the most experienced, pass from the Tyrrhenian coast to the slopes of Etna through the national park Nebrodi, the route of about 40km will take place through dense forests of oak and beech trees, beautiful lakes that are stopping place for many species of birds during the migratory period, typical rural villages, with views ranging dall'Etna to the Aeolian Islands. |
